Rev. Rickey (Rev. Rick) Hammond, Associate Minister at the Greater Mount Hermon Missionary Baptist Church is on Divine Assignment, with a Divine Vision. Upon the leading of the Holy Spirit, Rev. Rick has founded Another Chance Outreach Ministry, Inc., certified by the State of California as a non-profit, non-denominational ministry operating in the City of Compton.Another Chance Outreach Ministry, Inc. (ACOM) is committed to meeting the needs of distressed and abused women and children, economically oppressed, lost, broken, confused, chemically dependent, imprisoned, and the less fortunate individuals.
VISION STATEMENT
ACOM has a three-fold purpose. The first is to help individuals know they can be brought into a right relationship with the creator of the universe through the redemptive work of His Son, Jesus Christ. The second is to help those who want to be encouraged to do so by studying and learning God's Word. The third is to provide a setting where people's lives can be transformed through Christian Educational programs, vocational training, and a graduated program of supervised and responsible living. Our vision scripture is proverbs 3:5-6.
